DR. MARISOL BEAULAC, PSY. D

Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Marisol Beaulac is a licensed clinical psychologist with active licenses in Oregon and Washington. She earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Pacific University, an institution fully accredited by the American Psychological Association. Dr. Beaulac completed her clinical internship at the El Paso Psychology Internship Consortium, where she provided individual and group therapy, facilitated outreach programs, and conducted psychological and career assessments. Her postdoctoral residency focused on individual therapy, community-based outreach, and supporting clients with trauma-related challenges.


Dr. Beaulac has extensive experience working in diverse clinical settings, including community mental health centers, university counseling centers, outpatient mental health clinics, and non-profit organizations. She specializes in culturally sensitive psychological assessments and therapy for children and young people, with particular expertise in serving members of the Latino community. Her training in psychological testing and evaluation allows her to provide thorough, individualized assessments alongside therapy when appropriate.
 

Most families seek an evaluation to address concerns such as learning differences, behavioral challenges, or emotional struggles. Dr. Beaulac takes a holistic, strengths-based approach to every evaluation, examining each child’s development, academics, emotions, social skills, and cognitive functioning. Her practice is grounded in a liberation psychology framework, emphasizing empowerment and understanding the broader social and systemic factors that impact mental health, education, and development. Dr. Beaulac prioritizes involving caregivers throughout the evaluation and support process, believing that children are best supported within the context of their family and
community.


Dr. Beaulac provides comprehensive psychological assessments that address:

 

  • Learning Differences: Dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, giftedness, twice exceptional (2e)

  • Mood Disorders: Anxiety, depression, impulse control disorders

  • Attentional Disorders: ADHD and related differential diagnoses

  • Trauma-related challenges and behavioral concerns

In addition to psychological assessments, Dr. Beaulac offers individual therapy services tailored to each child’s unique needs and strengths, integrating evidence-based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Her goal is to empower children and families with understanding, tools, and guidance that honor their culture, strengths, and lived experiences.
